On December 9th, 2011, Occupy Atlanta marched to Chase bank to deliver letters from the family of Eloise Pittman(who had recently passed away), and Brigitte Walker. Both own homes that Chase bank has foreclosed on. Eloise was a victum of multiple scam artists and one of the worst predatory loans we’ve ever seen.
Brigitte is a 22 year army veteran who was injured while serving in Iraq and forced into medical retirement. While marchers left the march sight, several of us showed up at Chase bank early in an attempt to deliver the letters, written by both families, to the branch manager with the committment that the manager would send the letter to Frank Bisignano, who is the chief administrative officer and head of home lending. Frank makes 12 million a year.
You guys are AWESOME!!! Keep bring the attention back to the problem.
