The problem is the way banks are structured, e.g. the profit motive. Any bank, large or small will happily take YOUR money and use it to enrich their owners/shareholders/CEO. A Credit Union takes your money and uses it to enrich the member-owners (you). A local bank may be smaller, but the way the business is structured is no less exploitative. Don't be fooled!
