And I know you aren't kidding, this is all too serious, unfortunately. That video should be enough to get those BS charges dropped, hopefully. There was no highway and he certainly wasn't blocking anything. Wasn't he just standing in the driveway? Sickening!

Now if they asked him to get out of the street and he did and they arrested him that's wrong very wrong...and either way this is a clear misuse of force...but from what i saw they arrested hime b/c he was blindly defending an eviction by blocking the streets...also i gather from the video that they occupiers there were looking for marshals or any figure of lawful authority to evict a friend/fellow occupier looks like they might have held up the wrong guys...even so ...most ppl get evicted b/c they didn't pay....so if i walked out of a store w/o paying for a soda...should I not be arrested? should there not be some consequence in this world for not paying for goods and services rendered?

I'm a musician and activist from OWS, A folk singer/songwriter and one-man-acoustic-band. I'm on the road now, visiting and sharing music/solidarity w other cities and occupations. I had planned to play a show at WonderRoot on April 17 but it didnt work out.
I see that you guys are defending a house or two from eviction and I thought it would be great to hold a solidarity event to support the homeowners, a show in the living room, basement, or backyard of the actual houses? I certainly don't mean to impose, but perhaps one of the homeowners would be open to this idea?
Is anyone interested in helping me organize something like this? I know it's short notice, but perhaps we could make it work.
Let me know!
Thanks,
Gio Andollo

What an unnecessary show of excessive force! No wonder the country is broke. In the interim, real crooks were committing crimes while these cowards blow the people's money arresting a kid for being inside a tent...I guess? I'd love to hear what the charge was. Good job on the video. And hope he sues all of them pigs! Somebody ought to make them accountable for disturbing the peace, at the very least. Both disgusting and disgraceful.
