    so uhh any way you guys would consider getting a phpbb board? or one styled like that? traditional forum bulletin board styles are easier to make sense of because threads are organized into easily reviewable category boards. this new layout is confusing and hurts my eyes

    Okay guys, I’ve done a lot of updating on the visual layout of the site… You’ll notice a major update to the main page. Now, I have some other personal projects I need to work on for a few days.

    here are some things to finish up:

    Create a How To page for operating the site with ScreenCasts, FQA’s, etc.

    Help the other groups get acquainted with the new system for adding/editing events and posting minutes.

    Fix the formatting in the other browsers to match the way it looks in chrome that would be great! there is a huge difference from chrome to IE :/

    And anything else you see that needs to be fixed.

    More technical issues are:

    - the RSS feed at the bottom of the front page needs to visually look like the Activity page. And I would like for it only to show posts from the Group Admins eventually. if that’s possible.

    - we need to block out the ability to post .mp3 using the post a link system on the activity page. It breaks the page when used with mp3.

    - plugins like BP Docs, and CollabPress don’t associate each doc or task with the group. For instance, if i post a Doc or Task in the IT group, then click on my IT Doc or Task tab, all the Doc or Task for all groups show up there. (these are not currently enabled because of this issue)

    I am prepared to volunteer my webspace and bandwidth to maintain an actual phpBB forum for the movement if you guys don’t want to do that.

    @drevin896 I worked on the layout of everything a bit last night, tightened up the buttons, made some changes on the Forums, and the rest of buddypress. Just made All links #900 and I’m still working on other things as i see them, but they take a bit to update in the cloud

    I still would like to see “14 hours, 35 minutes ago” abbreviated to “14 hrs, 35 min ago” so it doesn’t take up so much space.

    Remove the white space between the tabs and the bar underneath it.
