In solidarity with the NYC General Assembly website we have implemented a new communication system for our website to assist in communications between groups as well as connect new people with Committees and Working Groups they want to get involved with.
This is a work in progress, please report detailed errors to Website@occupyatlanta.org.
All Committee and Working Group members can post announcements and use their Forum with voting for discussion. As more content is posted we will continue streamlining the website to fit our needs. Use the Bar at the top of your browser as a short cut to the places you use most.
Register Here or if you are already registered Edit your profile with your updated information, then find your Committee or Working Group and get started!
Activation issues – email Website@occupyatlanta.org or get with someone on the Website Team for help.
Note to current members of Committees and Working Groups on the ground:
Each group should choose at least two Admins and two Moderators to help with managing your work space. As an Admin or Moderator of your group you post Events for your group specifically, as well as add Minutes via the Docs Tab on your group page. Everyone can post updates! and everyone can join their group!
If you’re a BL for your group please have Process@occupyAtlanta.org email us with your contact info, so we can get you started. Current Admins can add new Admins and Moderators as needed and only need to let Website@occupyAtlanta.org know if they need to add Events.

I wish that ow would come up with something other than complaining about wallstreet. What is that going to accomplish? You can’t hurt wall street. They just think you are an annoying gnat. Want to have a real complaint? Start looking to see where the jobs are. They are gone. Gone around the world. Third world countries and China. They aren’t coming back no matter how long you occupy. Not as long as we ignore the real problem. Companies leave here because it is cost effective to do so. Tell Washington DC we won’t accept this any longer. The problem is all the regulations that are dumped on our companies by the EPA. Also minimum wage. Should we become like third world countries and China? Lower our min wage and lower our standard of clean air and water. NO! But what I do think is that we should pass a law that says no ship comes into this country from another that doesn’t have the same high standards that we do. I know that we have all this free trade but I think we should have people that go to these companies and make sure they live up to our standards. The standards that our government puts on us. Are we hipocrites that say we have to have these high standards but we will then allow ships to come here carrying all this cargo from emission guzzling 50cents an hour countries. (guzzling may not be the right word but you know what I mean) We have all this paper work and inspectors to make sure that our companies comply with our regulations. I say we have the same for any company that sends anything into our country. In other words level the playing fields. Neither Republicans or Democrats want to hear this. Know why? Because they all are making money from the way things are! Yes from wallstreet but the root of the problem is Washington DC!
