COMMITTEE REPORT-BACKS (20 MINUTES)

- Media/Outreach/Arts + Literature

- Demands

- Logistics/Finance

- Tactical Unity

- Process

- No real report-backs; became a continuation of announcements.

BREAKOUT (15 MINUTES)

(GA discussed in small groups ways to possibly make faciliation/process run more smoothly)

BREAKOUT REPORTS (10 MINUTES)

(These are all suggestions, not necessarily proposals.)

- Make beginnings of GAs more welcoming – quick runthrough of hand-signals at each.

- There should be a compilation of minutes and recaps at the beginning of GAs so we do not have to repeat
the same rules/discussions over and over.

- Rotating speakers and facilitators to avoid both emerging “leaders” and to prevent
facilitators from being burned out.

CLOSING/DISCUSSION ON CITY OF ATLANTA CLEANING

(Proposals)

- Move to warehouse.
- Stay where we are and clean the park ourselves.
- Go into all tents and lock arms.
- “External cost” to include those maybe inadvertently harmed (?)
- Have demands (a just cause).
- Allow the city to clean the park; help them.
- strategic compromise
- clean the park because it is the peoples; do not pack everything up
- Do we know what the park maintenance procedure entails?
- What exactly about leaving is thinking tactically?
- What is important to the city?
- We have a right to ask about the schedule and what is involved; and to identify
legitimate needs with which we could cooperate
- Plan B for people who want to camp but don’t want to camp here.
- Leave the park for the capital; if we leave it has to be our choice.
- We don’t move to the capital; go to Hurt Park.
- March @ 11:00am work with cleaning crew one tent at a time.
