Stacia from C7 is willing to teach people how to use a sewing machine when we get our TEN SEWING MACHINES!

Also, radical craftivists. We’re a thing. Our name may change because I’m squirrely on this one that I came up with five minutes ago, but still, we are a circle of sewers, crocheters, knitters, and various crafters who are working in solidarity for the people’s revolution and moneys.

Also, Austin can teach crochet, Waldo can teach ukelele and maybe (?) guitar, and Shabaka will do a rap teach-in. I was getting sign-ups for the same thing in person last week, those are all I can remember off the top of my head.

Oh, and I’m doing teach-ins beginning December 17th on various subjects related to Ancient Rome in honor of the Saturnalia holidays. I will probably do 4-5 different seminars on different subject areas, all relating to Ancient Rome. This will continue for a week or so until everyone leaves for Christmas and stuff.

I have a sewing machine that I will bring to classes, but will not leave. I use it too much. I also know how to sew. I can crochet, but my skills are basic… good enough to teach people how to make a warm scarf though.

The Communications Workers of America (CWA), Jobs With Justice (JwJ), & Teamsters conducted a workshop in collaboration with Occupy Atlanta to discuss and address the following:
    - Organized labor contributions to all workers in the U.S.
    - Are unions relevant today
