    Scott from Marietta here, I’m on Outreach & have sat in on a couple of other groups talking to people outside of OA and what they know about us. Feedback from some (not all, since the website is full of info for people comfortable with moving around it) is that 1. they aren’t sure who to contact to get involved (too many choices for strangers to choose from?) 2. They’re not sure what we’re about. It might be better to move the What is Occupy Atlanta/welcome video to the HOME Page with a ‘if you want more info, need a speaker or wish to get involved’ email tag at the top, prominently displayed, then the other links/activities stuff off to the side bar. Also, the ‘What is Occupy Atlanta’ info may need to be updated since we are no longer ‘occupying the park’. Just some thoughts from the outside view.

    Thanks @tsihddub, Our meeting is tomorrow and we’ll discuss these issues then and come up with some solutions for you :)

    One thing to keep in mind is the Site is continually changing and being updated based on feedback as it comes in, so many of these issues might have already been resolved. For Instance, on the “Contact and Communicate” page (tab located on the Black nav Bar below the header) There is in bold “Contact Info: Committees and Groups or Welcome@occupyAtlanta.org”

    I too think that’s a good idea to add the “What is OccupyAtlanta video” to the main page, and at one point it was there. However, do to some conflicting code it was removed. So, we’ll discuss these issues at our meeting and come up with better solutions! Thanks again for the feedback :)

    @tsihddub Check out the new info I added to the side bar… What do you think? I also altered the contact info on the about page and in a few other places as well.

    The youtube video code seems to work better and faster than the vimeo, so I added the OccupyWallStreet 30 sec commercial that aired earlier this week :)
