I tabled the proposal because of concerns and one block, but emphasized that the people who felt we needed the extra time for discussion need to participate in said discussion.

That we should modify the proposal about when and how to submit proposals passed on Jan 20 to cut the lead time down from one week to the day of the previous General Assembly.

Proposal for next Saturday’s GA:
We, the General Assembly of Occupy Atlanta, call for the repeal of Georgia’s statutes which suppress worker’s rights in favor of employer’s rights, specifically the ”at-will” employment law and all laws contravening or allowing for exceptions to the National Labor Relations Act of 1935.

I sent this in last Friday and have already taken amendments.
