One Response to ATL General Assembly

  1. sorry – been out of the loop way too long – I have reviewed the pledge – honestly, while there is much good in it – the first line appears primed for conflict that could be avoided by addressing certain root issues that NeoLiberals and NeoConservatives would actually agree:

    Proposed new first line:

We stand for absolute truth and unconditional love – therefore we oppose all irrational fear based on disinformation, propaganda and ignorance – all human beings have individual rights endowed by their Creator regardless of creed, race, nationality or sexual proclivity – thus we are opposed to collectivism that lumps people together by divide an conquer tactics so that we can see people as individuals with a unique life story. We are all wrong about something – thus we must be open to correction if we are to expect others to be.
