@ Noon (Troy Davis -Woodruff Park) – Veterans Day Brunch
Occupy Atlanta is honoring veterans on Friday, November 11th for Veteran’s Day. We will be serving a brunch for all who attend. Veterans (several from the Peachtree and Pine homeless shelter) will share their stories, experiences, sacrifices made, and how the military shaped their lives. This is a celebration; please bring your family and friends and join with us to honor our veterans. Please contact outreach@occupyatlanta.org if you are willing to help.
Call to action for employers: If you are interested in hiring any of these veterans, please contact us, and/or come to the event.
@ 4PM – Veterans Day, Occupy the Banks
Rally in Woodruff Park followed by a march to Bank of America; we will be foreclosing on them. There will be speakers and a ceremony. Join us.
