Earth Day Block Party Weekend @ Vine City!

Join us for family fun and community workshops starting this Earth Day, 2012! We will be hosting a block party kicking off Friday and going through Saturday, hosted at Higher Ground Empowerment Center in Vine City! Following the party will be a call the Occupy the EPA, starting Sunday!
Workshops include:
Sustainability-Related
1) Atlanta Metro Food & Farms – Kwabena Nkromo (work shop)
2) Metro Farms – Benjamin Burchall (teach-in)
3) O.A. Farming Group – plant & seed exchange
4) Sustainable Projects/Supplies Booth – C7
Family-Friendly Activities
5) Water Balloon Activities – Apples
6) Child activities – Darlene Jones-Owens (Every Day People)
7) Shift Bike co-op = Jonah (mobile bike tune-up)
Button Making – Roger Sikes from Jobs with Justice
9) Movement Meditation – Morgan from Arts & Lit Committee
10) Silk Screening – Sally
