Action Meeting Minutes: http://goo.gl/nJ66a

The Action Committee meets to discuss and plan direct actions. Please come or let us know if you have certain ideas for what you would like to see Occupy Atlanta do, or certain targets we should hit, or especially if you want to offer your dedicated labor. For obvious reasons, particularly with planning certain actions, think twice before you post on a public forum like right here. E-mail privately if it’s sensitive.

If you know how to, use PGP encryption with sensitive information. Our public key is here: http://goo.gl/9UGv0

Action Meeting Minutes of 11-3-2011 and 11-4-2011

Rough Meeting Minutes of 11/3/2011 and 11/4/2011 meetings:

-Everyone should use their facebook walls, etc. and make sure to each individually advertise and invite people to the max via social media connections – not enough people are doing this for our actions…

-On Friday, November 11th, 11/11/11 we are going to launch an attack on a bank, but the specific target will remain undisclosed for now.

-Everyone think of more creative, fun, attention-grabbing, and/or effective things than mere marches. Discussed a variety of options.

-Note 11/17/11: National General Strike Day

-Someone needs to make flyers for 11/11/11

-Work on creating a list of targets (institutions, people, etc), already brainstormed a bunch.

-Check Creative Loafing and everywhere else, looking for events we might have an interest in / want to attend or want to target.

-Considered hitting institutions that aren’t as obviously related to finance, like the DEA / War on Drugs.

-Tues., Nov 8th, 11am to 2pm, GSU protest @ board of reagents – anti-immigration, etc.

-put out a call for people having their homes foreclosed to contact us. Decided to help the first family (victims of mortgage fraud) that contacted us in Gwinnett, some people went out to offer support for the court hearing. Discussed occupying foreclosed houses and the mechanics and legalities of that. Considered occupying this Gwinnett family’s home. Decided to reach out to other organizations that already do this sort of thing for advice (i.e. Homes Not Jails and Take Back the Land).

-Think about doing something for Black Friday
