Meeting Wednesday, Nov. 2

Condensed version of what people said.

* Mandie: We have a venue for a show but we need to pull it together in two days. I have contact information for the technical director and the manager at 7 Stages, we can coordinate with them. I also have a list of bands who are willing to play and am contacting more people. The speakers at 7 Stages are old.
* Colin: I also know some bands, and we have equipment including speakers.
* Mandie: We need ushers, a stage manager, and a house manager. (took volunteers).
* Mandie: We need to promote via Facebook, the internet, flyers, and the press.
* Sara: I can write a press release and post things on the internet once you’ve made a flyer. I can help you with the flyer copy. Also, Scott can do sound.
* Mandie: What about food? The bands are playing for free, we should do something for them.
* Sara: (to Matt and Joe) Hey, aren’t y’all helping with Food Committee?
* Matt: Yes
* Sara and Mandie: Can you bring food to 7 Stages on Friday?
* Matt: Yes, but you will have to remind me.
* We made plans to announce at the GA that night and call for volunteers. Scott arrived and he and Sara went to 7 Stages to look at the sound system.
