Tech Meeting Minutes 10/15/2011
Location:  HQ 60 Walton

Purpose of calling the meeting was for organizing projects and attaining contact info from all tech committee members.

Tasks

1. Stories Page: RSS feed from wearethe99percent.tumblr.com – ROMAN

2. Wireless @ at park – Full committee effort (Josh will look into getting this setup)

3. We have decided to use a more dynamic Project Management Software. Collabtive was thought to be the best to try at the moment. We will all try it for a couple of days and see how it works. – JOSH (http://www.collabtive.com/)

4. Lis and Shana will work together to streamline the website for better usability and information

5. Shana and Andrew will work together at distributing emails to groups when available

6. Shana will manage an @occupyAtlanta.org to host all the Minutes for the Website

7. We all had a sense of urgency to support live stream for media. Currently looking into adding tech needs like netbook, webcams, and help for streaming all general assemblies.

8. Billy will be working on installing remote access software and a backup for the HQ computer. We may be using it as a server to help with back ups and storing important information regarding site database.

9. Josh gave access for tech@occupyatlanta.org so that others can help monitor.

10. Josh is going to contact other committee’s to help organize communication between committee’s.

11. In order to not incur any costs, we have decided it was priority to move hosting services to another host, ASAP.

12. We have agreed to meet face-to-face once a week, meanwhile arranging virtual meetings throughout the week to maintain proper communication and collaborative strength.
