I”ve been working with Media since day 1, but I’m also busy as hell trying to coordinate work on several other committees. I’d like to try to dedicate some more time to Media, if I can find it however. I always was praised as being a good speech writer and giver, and won many essay contests. With their recent call for writers, I think I may […] View

This results in elected officials receiving tens of […] ViewEndorse it how? Sounds like a terrible idea. If we endorse anything, it should be a statement that says we endorse ending ALL corporate influence on government, not this. If people think endorsing this is a good idea, they’re forgetting what Occupy is about.

Bottom Liner meetings for the next two weeks will be on THURSDAYS rather than Sundays, due to holidays. So, this Thursday we will be meeting, most likely at 5 PM it seems. If you’re in a committee reading this, be sure to come up with agenda ideas to discuss (what we need right now, what we need to plan, and what’s coming up)!

In reply to: sunflame posted an update in the group Coordinating Does anyone here want to be our interoccupation coordinator? How about anydozen? http://interoccupy.org/coc-roster/ ViewI signed up Coordinating to do this, and actually I just got back in town a few hours ago after visitng Occupy DC, Philadelphia, Wall Street, and Boston. Would’ve stopped at a few more, but other members had to return sooner. I would like some help with this, however. Perhaps once it gets started, we can find some more members to assist in…[Read more]

If there’s really a problem, you can tell your Coordinatinng liaison and they will tell the General Assembly.

We have a part of GA called “Committee Report backs” which is the perfect time to let people know about such things, rather than a post on facebook only 2 days before. What if no one had seen that? We may have been left in the lurch because we didn’t…[Read more]

Yep, because process should require that people who are donating their time, equipment, and resources give plenty of notice before they stop doing it. This is why some people hate process so much, because it sounds like just another word for control.

Because some of us have lives. We have x amount of time to donate, and attending meetings isn’t a good use of that time for many of us.
