Endorse it how? Sounds like a terrible idea. If we endorse anything, it should be a statement that says we endorse ending ALL corporate influence on government, not this. If people think endorsing this is a good idea, they’re forgetting what Occupy is about.

It’s often a question as to why companies outsource jobs, or layoff living-wage workers only to rehire them to the same positions for minimum wage. It’s been argued that it’s done because the companies simply […]

Bottom Liner meetings for the next two weeks will be on THURSDAYS rather than Sundays, due to holidays. So, this Thursday we will be meeting, most likely at 5 PM it seems. If you’re in a committee reading this, be sure to come up with agenda ideas to discuss (what we need right now, what we need to plan, and what’s coming up)!

I signed up Coordinating to do this, and actually I just got back in town a few hours ago after visitng Occupy DC, Philadelphia, Wall Street, and Boston. Would’ve stopped at a few more, but other members had to return sooner. I would like some help with this, however. Perhaps once it gets started, we can find some more members to assist in…[Read more]

Sorry, that’s no excuse. Absolutely no excuse. There are people in Logistics who can attend, if one person can’t, someone can be found to attend. If there’s really a problem, you can tell your Coordinatinng liaison and they will tell the General Assembly.

But there’s no excuse. None. Out of all the people in Logistics at C7, SOMEONE…[Read more]

Um, I’ve been donating my time for 2 months and I still go to GA and report information. We have a part of GA called “Committee Report backs” which is the perfect time to let people know about such things, rather than a post on facebook only 2 days before. What if no one had seen that? We may have been left in the lurch because we didn’t…[Read more]

Coordinating is in a tough spot. C7 has supposedly given last minute (2 day notice) about their kitchen no longer being usable. On top of that, they ahven’t bothered to announce it at General Assembly. People need to learn to respect the Process.

    • Yep, because process should require that people who are donating their time, equipment, and resources give plenty of notice before they stop doing it. This is why some people hate process so much, because it sounds like just another word for control.

        • Because some of us have lives. We have x amount of time to donate, and attending meetings isn’t a good use of that time for many of us.
